Livingston County, Illinois

Livingston County is located in the east central part of Illinois, southwest of Chicago.

It is named for Edward Livingston, a former mayor of New York. The seat and largest city are both Pontiac, located in the central part of the county.

It borders Grundy, Kankakee, Ford, McLean, Woodford and LaSalle Counties.

Main Highways include I-55, US-24, IL-17, IL-23, IL-47 and IL-116.
